Ladle is a smelting vessel, playing an important role in steelmaking process. 
Improving the ladle life and reducing the consumption of refractory materials is an important research topic.
From the aspects of economy, labor saving and environmental protection, pouring construction has become an effective method for ladle construction. The advantages of quick and convenient pouring construction have also promoted the sustainable development of ladle.
In 1980s China developed water glass bonded castable, then the development of anhydrous glass castable of the second generation, but still can not meet the rising temperature of molten steel and continuous casting ladle for developing spinel castable, such as bauxite spinel pouring material, magnesium spinel castable etc..
